With its small form factor and high performance, SD memory cards and SDIO cards has become the de-facto industry standard in consumer electronics, ranging from digital camera, MP3 audio, to wireless data applications.

This controller core also features AMBA™, AHB™ interface and a generic user interface for flexible connection to the system. Option to support CompactFlash™ standard is also available. Like all Eureka IP cores, the SD memory and SDIO controller core can be implemented in any ASIC and FPGA technologies. The core is available immediately in Verilog, VHDL, and FPGA netlist formats.
